Litterbug Larry, Scourge of Springfield

Pardon our internet hiccups, Larry does a remote show from the luxury of room 824 of the Sheraton Monarch hotel in Springfield, MA.

This week, Larry’s beloved macintosh apples get him the hairy eyeball from onlookers who think he’s littering when he’s actually recycling, or composting, or sharing the core with squirrels. Listen, don’t YOU judge, too!

Quote of the week: “We’re gonna get cabinets made of meat.”

I love snacking on an apple when I’m out for a walk precisely because I can chuck the core into the bushes with a clear conscious.
    Keep on keeping on, pal.

Rogers Orchards is open late July to mid-May:
    It’s our favorite farm store.
We enjoyed meeting you last Friday! Great show!

Thought the poetry was a pleasant surprise. Just did a click thru to get my son a game he wanted. Thanks for another great podcast. Been missing you playing hypo road trip lately. You’ll never get one right if you don’t practice.

Ow-ow-ow-ow-ow! I’ve cracked my head on a cabinet door before, and Man that hurts! That sharp edge really gets you.

But I’m learning — every time I see an open cabinet door, I shut it. I guess some things eventually do penetrate that old ivory skull of mine.

Would an email to the “going green” Springfield,MA Sheraton about your experience there be helpful? Perhaps suggest they make space heaters available to guests for whom “green” means “blue”.

Hello Larry love your podcast. I am a new listener. I tried your intro with a few of my friends. It actually turned out funnier than I had planned. I stated the below.

“Hello my name is Randy; but in a way aren’t we all?”

You can see that is even funnier depending on the name. Anyways thanks for the laughs.

The Robert Frost poem (“Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening”) was wonderful. Please do a poem each week.

I am a new listener to your podcasts. I have seen you in many of your films and tv appearances. I always remember you as the doorman on Seinfeld and on the films that you starred with Dennis Quaid and Kathleen Turner (name of flim escapes me) Princess Diaries, Pretty Woman. You are talented and seem like a down to earth guy. Your stories put a smile on my face while I am working. I will have a glass of Shiraz to toast you for a speedy recovery from your accident.
